So uh... my desk top has been in a state of limbo for like... half a year. I've just been using my laptop.

Apparently my scanner/printer is incompatible with my laptop.

And has been for quite a while.

There is a particular someone I owe ALOT of images to. I apologize to you in advance... I know you are patient, but I feel like a fucking jerk for not getting them to you in a while.

So... I have soooo many important images and what not saved on my desk top, that I didn't save onto a seperate hard drive that I'm kinda freaking out because I don't want to reformat my desk top in lieu of losing all of my files.

I'm talking about things like art I don't have anymore, my older photography bits, important documents, etc.

Explanation for computer being in limbo:

So, my computer got all weird because the electricity decided to skip in my apartment and pretty much shut my computer off without my permission. So when I restarted it, it started acting really funny... like things wouldn't load up etc... so I tried doing a systems repair... however, in doing so my system repair was taking FOREVER... I thought just maybe it was because something had frozen, because it had been like.... 9 hrs and nothing had moved. So I shut it off(BIG MISTAKE) and hoped that I could restart it. Uh...

I didn't realize that after restarting it... NOTHING WOULD LOAD UP EXCEPT FOR THE BACKGROUND. I didn't realize this would happen. Lesson learned for near future should events happen like this again.

However, is there anyway I can repair my computer, or any way that I can save said information from my computer before I reformat the whole thing?
